He is a talented painter, the son of the famous Ukrainian graphic artist, the Popular Artist of Ukraine, The National Shevchenko Prize twice laureate, the Academician, the professor Georgiy Vyatcheslavovich Yakutovich. Dmitriy was born November 9th of 1958 in Kiev, 47 street Kydryavskaya, apt.1, in the city old region Urochishche Kudryavets.
The Mother, Alexandra Georgievna Pavlovskaya, the brother Sergey Georgievich Yakutovich and his wife Olga Grigorievna are professional graphic artists-illustrators.
Dmitry is the pride of the family, since he is the only artist in the constellation of graphic artists chose the path of painter.
Being all-round talented besides the general formation he obtained the musical formation as since childhood has absolute pitch; he has exceptional physics-mathematics abilities, literature abilities, constitutional bias to the humanities.
In 1970 in the result of auto catastrophe he became deaf, got hurt and had to leave humanities and music. Subsequently he became absorbed into fine arts, having tried all possibilities in graphics and watercolor he settled on painting which he became keen since 1977 on right away after he left school.
In 1988 he met with an accident again and obtained traumatic brain injury, became the invalid of second group.
He was formed as the artist in the private studios which were headed by the famous Ukrainian artists: the graphic artists Grigoriy Gavrilenko, the painter Anatoliy Limarev and the sculptor Nikolay Rapay. Dmitry did not obtain the special higher education.
Since 1978 - till 2005 - he is the permanent participant of the regional, All-Ukrainian, All-Union (of the former USSR) and international exhibitions. He creates landscapes, portraits, still lives, interior decorations.
Since 1981-1988 was the member of the USSR Junior Commonwealth of Artists.
In 1990 became the member of the National Commonwealth of Ukraine.
In 1997 became the member of All-Ukrainian Society of Deaf People, of the Commonwealth of Deaf Artists, Commonwealth of Invalids.
Since 1999 Dmitriy is the permanent participant of the exhibition devoted to the international invalids' day.
In 2003 he became the member of the Popular Academy of Invalids' Creative works and the Laureate of the All-Ukrainian Invalids Festival.
In 2004 became the Laureate of the International Invalids Festival "Philanthropist".
His artworks are in popular demand, the museums and private collectors purchase them; the artworks are in collections of the Tchernigov National Arts Museum and Nikolaev Arts Museum.
Dmitry considers his father G.V. Yakutovich and also the artists Rembrandt, Claude Monet,
Cezanne, Morandi, Plastov, Arkhip Kuindzhi, Malevitch, Savrasov, Volobuev, Trokhimenko,
Shishko his teachers.
Dmitriy lives in Kiev 01014, Pechersk region, 3 Kurganovskaya street apt.34, Urochishche Zverinets.
